The Twisting Labyrinth of Daedalus

A 3D, Pac-Man style puzzle cube. The Monsters of the Labyrinth chase you as you make your way through it. And it twists… from level three the maze turns into fresh dead-ends, stranding the coins you need, until you find the glowing wall that un-twists it. Can you solve the mystery of the maze and collect every coin? Can you get the highest score on the leaderboard? One way to find out.

The twist

The labyrinth is a cube, and from level three it can start twisted… new dead-ends, and coins that can’t be reached. Find the glowing wall button to un-twist it, and the maze turns back around you. That changes the chase as much as the route: un-twist the maze and the trail the Minotaur is following may no longer exist, and the corridor Cerberus was holding may not be there anymore.

How it plays

Goal. Roll through the 3D labyrinth and collect every coin to clear the level… then on to the next.

Move. Roll the ball and reorient across walls, floor and ceiling… every surface is fair game.

Survive. Four adversaries prowl the halls: the Minotaur, Medusa, Hydra and Cerberus. Grab Zeus’ homing bolt and hurl it at them to send them back to their lair, or slip on Hermes’ winged sandals to be carried to a safe part of the maze.

Portals. Portals to the Underworld wait in each section of the maze… step through to be carried to the other side. The adversaries can’t follow you.

Treasures. Greek Rewards appear for bonus points: the Golden Fleece, the Golden Apple, Ambrosia and more.

HUD. With 30% of your coins remaining, the HUD appears, showing your current location in the cube, the location of every adversary, and where the remaining coins are.

GPS. With 20% of your coins remaining, the GPS appears and points to the closest treasure, switching to the Greek Rewards when they appear.
